About us

I have to admit, I am addicted to riding and Harley’s. My wife says that I can’t do anything half way.
When I was younger, skiing filled my life. Family and work took that over. Skydiving consumed me. Golfing every day was not a problem (except that business kept interrupting).
I spent 30 Years of my life in the Scuba Diving industry. Diving was my life. For medical reasons I won’t dive anymore and some of my other sports don’t hold the allure for me like they used to do.
I grew up on dirt bikes but, my first ride on a Harley Davidson changed my life.
Thanks Craig Tillotson.
I was invited by Craig to Ride to Sturgis in 1993. I rode a 883 Sportster and fell in love with the open road. I didn’t know that it was uncomfortable and that I looked like a poser on it. Craig even tied a big green parrot on the bike and that couldn’t kill the fun I was having. (I did manage to lose it somewhere around Rock Springs…) I didn’t even mind that I had to carry a gas can to stay up with my riding buddies. I had a blast. In 1994 I got to ride his Limited Edition Heritage Softail and I was hooked. What a great bike! It was a joy and turned heads. The next year, Rode with Craig and his brother Blake to the rally and Staci met me and rode the events and home with Blake and I. She grew up on motorcycles but it was there she caught the also caught the bug.
I guess that I like the whole image thing that goes with Harley’s. In Utah, we were in a restaurant and a young girl of 13 or 14 was fascinated by our bikes and started a conversation. We were glad to show her the bikes but her mother quickly came out and rushed her away from the bad people.
On the way home from Sturgis, in a small town in Idaho Staci was in a tube top (Huba Huba) and I was sporting weeks stubble and black, we went into a convenience store to get some snacks. We waited for about 10 minutes and noticed no one would make eye contact with us. Every time we tracked them down in the store they would walk away or look occupied. I finally got loud and asked “is anyone going to help us?” Dead quiet. We left the store scratching our heads but chuckled under our breath.
That is when I was totally hooked. We loved the biker culture and the stigma that goes with it. I just had to wait to raise a few kids to get bikes of our own.

So here we are. A little more grey and a few more pounds but we both have 2008 105th Anniversary Harley Davidson’s. Mine is a Heritage Softail and Staci’s is a 1200 Low Sportster.

We are burning up the road and ready to ride. Join us and we will keep you informed of our adventures. Better yet, get on a bike and join us!
